Edge of Motion. 2014 - ongoing

Two, four, or more, LED clocks, each reprogrammed to flash zeros on and off at slightly different rates. The slow slippage that results from the degrees of concurrency and alternation of these clocks’ digits can be perceived as cyclical patterns of phasing. The clocks’ repetitions over time are read as relationships in the space between each, and any assumption that they might eventually, briefly re-synchronise remains implicit, making a call to our capacity for protention.
